School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Program

In 1938, Marguerite Coleman, RN, who served as President of the Saint Francis Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association, created a "loan program" to assist undergraduate and graduate nursing students in advancing their nursing education. This program transformed into a scholarship award and over $700,000 has been presented. 

This prestigious award recognizes alumni, alumni family members, and other applicants who provide outstanding service to their community and have achieved distinction in their professional accomplishments.

Last year $85,000 was distributed to Belinda Afful, MaryClare Bello, Lindsay Boyles, Janell Brown, Chandra Campanelli, Ashley Canestro, Orlando Carter, Aidan Cooke, Alyssa Corcoran, Amanda Dixon, Dadelyn Espinosa, Amanda Gutierrez-Ho, Velma Lespier-Vega, Jennifer Merced, Jordan Miller, Cam Nhung Quach, Amanda O'Connell, Alicia Pare, Kelsey Peck, Deara Pope, Suzanne Reardon, Derrika Reid, Peyton Teske, Amanda Tourigny, Hien Tran, Karen Whitman, Kristen Wishart, and Savannah Zell.
