Barbara Gordon's 18th Annual Backyard BBQ Event

"Hello to Summer" 

The 18th Annual Barbara Gordon Backyard BBQ was held on June 12th.  The summer kickoff fundraiser included live music by Dan Gabel and the Abletones, the BurgerWay food truck, kosher hot dogs cooked by members of the West Hartford Fire Department, gourmet iced coffee, cool beverages, ice cream and exciting raffle prizes. Barbara's event supports the Karl J. Krapek, Sr. Comprehensive Women’s Health Center at Saint Francis Hospital and raised more than $20,000.  These gifts will support the free mammogram program and patient assistance fund, alleviating financial pressure for patients and their families so they may focus on their treatment and recovery.
