The Tom Savage Quarter Note Foundation, Inc. donated $5,000 to the Saint Francis Foundation to benefit the Patient Assistance Fund at the Smilow Cancer Hospital Yale-New Haven at Saint Francis. The Quarter Note Foundation celebrates the life and legacy of Tom Savage, a musician, leader of the Savage Brothers Band, and a beloved music teacher at Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor who passed away in 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Funds raised by the Quarter Note Foundation are used to provide scholarships to local students and to lend a helping hand to individuals fighting cancer.
