Southington High School holds sneaker drive for Mount Sinai

Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital was looking for new or gently used sneakers for both men and women to provide support for rehab patients. Some of the patients don’t have appropriate sneakers or don’t have any sneakers at all. Good footwear has proven essential for exercise and therapy. Patients rehabilitating from stroke, amputation, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and others will utilize the donated sneakers during their rehab and therapy sessions.

Southington High School held a drive for two weeks in May and collected more than 60 pairs of sneakers.  If you would like more information on how to donate sneakers or support the therapy programs at Mount Sinai, please contact Paige at PMccullo@TrinityHealthOfNE.org.
