Kiran began running at the age of 65 and will continue as long as he can. He raises money for the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Saint Francis, where his wife Yogini works, and their Patient Assistance Fund. The more than $3,000 he raises each year buys grocery store gift cards, covers transportation costs or helps purchase items that assist patients and their families as they deal with their illness.
