 Johnson Memorial Hospital Announces Two Scholarship Programs

 STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn. (January 2019) Johnson Memorial Hospital (JMH) is accepting scholarship applications for its Auxiliary Gift Shop Scholarship Program and Medical Staff Scholarship Program.

The submission deadline is March 15, 2019 for both programs.

The JMH Auxiliary will award a $1,000 scholarship to a current exemplary gift shop volunteer. Criteria for consideration include the total number of hours logged and status as a high school senior or adult volunteer pursuing higher education in the field of their choice. 

The JMH Medical Staff offers several $1,000 scholarships for students pursuing studies in health or human services related fields.  High school students may apply if they will graduate in 2019 and reside in Ellington, Enfield, Somers, Stafford or Tolland. 

JMH volunteers or individuals who have a parent employed at JMH but live outside the designated geographic area may also apply. Students pursuing higher education in health or human services may apply if they are a JMH employee, JMH adult volunteer or were a recipient of this award in the previous three years.
