Julia Nevico, a high school senior from East Hampton High School, recently delivered homemade comfort baskets for our Hema de Silva Neonatal Intensive Care Unit colleagues and parents, as part of her Capstone Project. Her twin brothers, Michael and Jacob, were patients in the NICU 20 years ago and unfortunately, Jacob passed away while there. Julia’s project was in his memory and in honor of all who took care of her brothers and the families who currently have babies in the NICU.
