In 2022, ALL-GAS, a local propane and compressed gas delivery company based in Hartford, began supporting the Hema De Silva, M.D. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Saint Francis Hospital via a branded propane delivery truck. For every gallon of propane delivered by the truck, ALL-GAS donates one penny to the NICU. With the truck in service every day delivering propane to residents throughout Connecticut, the pennies add up – to date, the team has raised more than $12,000 for our tiniest patients. Jon Pollack, Assistant Vice President of ALL-GAS, met with Whitney Hubbs Dionne, Senior Philanthropy Officer, to present this year’s gift.
ALL-GAS, a fourth-generation family run company, has been working with Saint Francis since the 1940s, and made a major commitment to the NICU three years ago. ALL-GAS has a donation kiosk in their showroom, stickers with the donation link on their cylinders and envelopes, and a page on their website dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the NICU. In addition, they help many other charities and individuals throughout their service areas in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
From July 1-5, ALL-GAS is hosting a propane sale for veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. This special group will receive one free 20lb. propane tank fill as a thank you for all they do. For more information about the company, visit www.allgas.com.
