Under sunny blue skies, supporters of the third annual Fiondella Walk for Fun and Fitness raised almost $5,000 to benefit equipment upgrades at the Fiondella Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.
The three-mile walk through Hartford’s Elizabeth Park supports the cardiac rehab center which was named in honor of the Fiondella family in 2014. The Fiondella Family have a long history with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center beginning when Bob Sr. who was appointed a hospital board member and corporator in 1992. He has served as a Foundation board member and on various MIRACLES committees as well as the 2002 campaign special gifts co-chair.
Proceeds from the annual fun walk will allow the cardiac rehab program to continue providing quality care and promoting cardiovascular wellness and healthy lifestyles to cardiac rehab patients and families.
