Singing for Savage and Caring for Patients

Mark Savage and Kevin Moriarty from the Tom Savage Quarter Note Foundation presented a check for $5,000 to the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Saint Francis to benefit the Patient Assistance Fund. The foundation’s main purpose is to celebrate the life and legacy of Tom Savage, a friend, brother, teacher and musician. Tom was the leader of the Savage Brothers Band, a beloved music teacher at Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor and a patient at Saint Francis. The Tom Savage Quarter Note Foundation continues his good works by providing scholarships to local students and giving a helping hand to people fighting cancer.

Their third annual music fundraiser will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Maneeley’s Banquet and Catering Hall in South Windsor.
