Every Tuesday, members of the Portland Senior Center get together to sew these comfort teddy bears for patients of the Women's Center. These wonderful gifts were delivered to the Women's Center by Carlotta Allen Lord, Wanda Cannatta, Judith Jansson - on the bench and in the back Phyllis Clark, Maureen Rich, Pam Nordstrom, Nancy Jones and Johanna Gerolami. This program was started in 2002 by Frances Schoell who passed away five years ago but her friends make the bears to continue her good work.
