Barbara Gordon, a member of the Saint Francis Foundation Board and long-time supporter of Saint Francis Hospital, recently held her 15th Annual Backyard BBQ Event after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event raised over $20,000 for the Karl J. Krapek, Sr. Comprehensive Women’s Health Center. With over 100 guests in attendance, including Governor Ned Lamont, guests were treated to a dumpling demonstration by Connecticut Attorney General William Tong, sweet treats from the Ice Cream Emergency truck and musical entertainment from Dan Gabel and his band.
Members of the West Hartford Fire Department were on hand to serve up a fabulous menu filled with Asian flair.
