BENEFICIARY

Funds raised at the 2026 Making Miracles Happen Gala will directly benefit Trinity Health Of New England's Thoracic Oncology departments.

The Thoracic Oncology team is dedicated to increasing awareness, expanding access to early detection, and utilizing cutting-edge technology to treat lung cancer. Through a collaborative approach between pulmonology, surgery, primary care, medical, and radiation oncology, the program provides timely, innovative, comprehensive treatment that delivers excellent outcomes and advances innovation in thoracic oncology.

Regional lung cancer screening and incidental nodule programs help identify cancer at an earlier stage, improving chances for a cure. Our Interventional Pulmonologists have performed over 1,500 robotic-assisted bronchoscopy procedures using the Ion endoluminal system, establishing Trinity Health Of New England as a national leader. Our unified multidisciplinary team delivers coordinated, comprehensive care that underscores our Mission as a transforming, healing presence in the communities we serve. 

ENTERTAINMENT

This year’s Making Miracles Happen Gala will feature live entertainment by XS Band, a local New England group with many years of experience. XS Band is a 6-member ensemble that combines world-class musicianship with some of Boston’s finest vocalists. Inspired by early R&B classic throwback hits and today’s music, XS Band features a wide range of styles including R&B, Rock, Latin, Country, Soul, Funk, Disco, and Contemporary Hip Hop. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes – XS Band will have you on your feet and singing along with your favorite hits through the decades!

This year's Gala will also feature a photobooth, live artists, and a few other fun surprises!

Residence Inn by Marriott

We have reserved a hotel room block at the Residence Inn by Marriott - Hartford Avon, which is located three miles from the Riverview. Single rooms with queen beds (a mix of One Bedroom and Studio Suites) are available for $239 for the night. We have reserved a hotel room block at The Simsbury Inn, which is located just across the street from the Riverview. Single queen or king beds are available for $348 for the night. o   How do I register to attend?

o   Where can I find information about sponsoring this event?

o   Do I need to register in advance to attend?

To ensure that we have enough seating and refreshments for all our guests, we kindly ask that you register by Friday, September 18. Please note that capacity at our new venue is 500, so this event may sell out.

o   What is the dress code?

The dress code is black tie optional. Guests should wear tuxedos, suits, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, or dressy separates. 

o   Do I need a physical ticket for the Gala?

No. Guests will simply need to check in with our registration staff in the lobby to receive their seating assignments.

o   Can I purchase a table without knowing all my guests?

Yes, you may purchase a host table (which includes up to 12 tickets) before knowing all your guests’ names. Our staff will reach out to you closer to the event to confirm your guest names if you do not provide all twelve with your initial registration.

o   I require special accommodations – who should I contact?

We are happy to help accommodate our guests to our best ability. Please reach out to Samantha Ouellette at specialevents@trinityhealthofne.org and she will be happy to assist you!

o   I have special dietary needs – who should I contact?

This year, we do not need to collect dietary restrictions or meal preferences in advance. Simply notify your waiter of your meal preference and any dietary needs at the event. 

o   Is there a hotel room block?

Yes; please refer to the hotel section outlined above. Reservations must be made by September 3, 2026 to secure our group rate.

o   Where should I park?

Parking is available in a free parking lot outside of The Riverview. Guests may be dropped off at the front door prior to parking, if preferred. 

o   Will I need to pay to park?

No. The parking lot at the Riverview is free of charge to all guests, and vouchers will not be required.

o   My guest can’t make it at the last minute – can I bring someone else?

Yes, you may invite someone other than your original guest. Just tell our check-in staff the name of the person who is unable to attend and provide them with the name of your new guest. 

o   How can I find event photos after the Gala?

We will share event photos with event attendees via email the week after the Gala.
