The Summit Sisters Tackle Kilimanjaro for the Mandell MS Center

Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, Africa

The Summit Sisters, Amy Remington, right, and Bethany Hartshorn, left, will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records challenge for completing the highest obstacle course in the world.  Their attempt will take place on top of Mt. Kilamanjaro, Tanzania, Africa, during the week of September 14th, 2021.  They are raising funds and awareness for the Mandell MS Center at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.

Bethany was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 12 years ago and has not let this diagnosis stop her. Her motto is, "I might have MS, but MS doesn't have me."  Amy has been her rock through all the races they do and together they are unstoppable. Amy works in occupational therapy and amazingly worked throughout covid. She has dealt with covid and her patients with a continued smile knowing she is helping them get better every day.  Together, they know that "the more money they raise, the more help they can do."

Thank you for your support of the Summit Sisters and the Mandell MS Center.
