John T. O'Connell Tower - 2011
The John T. O’Connell opened in the Spring of 2011, and is an extraordinary addition to our Saint Francis campus. This facility features a 50,000 square foot Emergency Department, our world-class Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute, 108 private patient rooms, a new surgical suite with 19 operating rooms and a new helicopter pad. In line with our mission, the new tower will serve our community with compassionate care, state-of-the-art equipment and a highly-skilled staff for years to come.
