Naming Opportunities

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital are pleased to offer a variety of naming opportunities in recognition of significant gift commitments.

There are many ways in which you can become a part of the legacy of the Hospitals. As a donor you may choose from a variety of sites including the John T. O’Connell Tower, Mount Sinai or the Saint Francis campus. In addition, naming opportunities are available for numerous program areas within our Centers of Excellence.

Naming Opportunity Recognition

Specific programs, rooms and areas at each location may be dedicated in the names of individuals, families, foundations or corporations. Prominent and attractive signage to denote designated rooms, areas and programs will be displayed on a central donor wall as well as individual signs within the named space. Additional recognition options may be designed to address individual and family interests.

Beyond their value as expressions of appreciation, commemorative gifts enrich the Hospital with the names of individuals who have exemplified selfless giving of either time, service or money. Named gifts perpetuate the memory of those honored and serve as an ongoing inspiration to succeeding generations to follow suit.

The cost of the named gift does not necessarily represent the “actual costs” but rather the “recognition value” of the particular memorial unit. The amount designated for each item is based upon a combination of approximate cost, location, visibility and desirability of the item. Since these units are limited, they will be reserved as received.

When you consider your investment in Saint Francis and Mount Sinai, recall these words of philosopher William Black:

“Too many people wait until they have passed on to bequeath substantial funds for worthy causes. It is too late then for the gift-investor to enjoy the fruits of his humanitarian intention.”
