The 16th Annual Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital Golf Classic will be held at Blue Fox Run in Avon on Monday, May 21, 2012, beginning with an 8:30 AM shotgun start. Please check back in January, 2012 for registration and further information.

The 15th Anniversary Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital Golf Classic was held on Monday, May 16th, 2011 at Blue Fox Run Golf Course, in Avon. This year’s event brought in a record number 183 participants, with all proceeds from the tournament supporting the purchase of the OmniVR Virtual Rehabilitation System for the Mount Sinai Campus. The OmniVR is the first virtual rehabilitation system developed to accommodate the needs of medically complex patients in the rehabilitation setting. With its 3 D camera and specialized computer software, the OmniVr is able to track the patient’s precise movements and allow them to interact in a virtual world. In addition, the system includes a variety of “skilled” exercise programs for physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapy applications.
